Usability Engineer Single Use Endoscopes (m/f/d)

Your mission

• You will plan, document and present formative and summative usability evaluations and create the associated engineering files
• You will be responsible for ensuring that usability activities are carried out in a compliant manner (in accordance with laws and standards)
• You will support the definition of use-related risks and actions requiring user involvement
• Support your colleagues in requirements engineering and communication with regulatory authorities regarding usability
• You will be a reliable point of contact for your colleagues in product management, product design, product development, regulatory affairs and risk management

Your talents

• Degree in engineering psychology with a focus on usability or similar
• Experience in medical device usability
• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements for medical devices and usability engineering (IEC 62366-1 and FDA usability requirements)
• Ability to quickly grasp the context of tasks and requirements
• Systematic, analytical mindset and approach
• Confident presenter
• Understanding of technical relationships
• Very good German and English skills
