Your Mission

  • Minimally invasive surgery based on endoscopic imaging will continue to play a key role in patient care tomorrow through the integration of new imaging technologies. Contribute with your ideas and develop new and fascinating solutions for future endoscopy systems in a small team
  • Within the team your focus will be on the design of the complete imaging chain. You will combine classical electronics with embedded computer components to create an efficient and powerful system
  • In-depth knowledge of signal processing as well as practical experience in implementation will enable you to select the electronic system components you need
  • You will demonstrate the basic feasibility of a solution approach on the basis of a functional prototype. You always keep the overall system in mind and optimize the interaction of the individual components in coordination with your team colleagues
  • The comprehensible presentation of the functional models as well as the critical discussion of the results are another part of your work
  • In addition to the project work, you will continuously monitor new technologies and evaluate them with regard to their relevance for our field of work

 

Your Talents

  • Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering and information technology or a comparable field with a focus on optoelectronic systems 
  • Very good knowledge and experience in elctronic hardware design as well as in programming of mixed architectures with FPGA or GPU based components
  • Passionate curiosity about new technologies and understanding how they work
  • Confident appearance and presentation skills 
  • Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken
