Surgical Operational Efficiency Spec I

KARL STORZ is seeking an Surgical Operational Efficiency Specialist to provide hands-on support for our surgical instruments and video equipment at assigned hospitals or surgery centers. You’ll work directly with Sterile Processing Departments (SPD), Operating Room staff, and Biomed teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and support surgical workflows.
Key Responsibilities:

Support decontamination, reprocessing, assembly, and sterilization of instruments

Set up and maintain video systems in the OR

Provide face-to-face technical support to OR, SPD, and Biomed staff

Troubleshoot and manage equipment repairs and replacements
-
Identify opportunities to reduce instrument damage and repair costs

Perform preventative maintenance and data collection/reporting
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
0–2 years’ experience in Sterile Processing, Surgical Technology, or related medical field
-
Strong communication and customer service skills
-
Team-oriented with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
Preferred

Associate's Degree and/or CRCST preferred
