We are seeking a Quality Control Technician with a strong audio/visual and technical testing background to support our manufacturing and quality operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and ensuring products meet the highest quality and regulatory standards. You’ll play a key role in product testing, inspection, documentation, and collaboration across departments—while supporting FDA‑regulated quality requirements.


 

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Quality Control Technician, you’ll be responsible for testing, inspection, and documentation of audio/visual components and finished products to ensure they meet established specifications and regulatory expectations.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform incoming inspections of raw materials and components
  • Conduct functional pass/fail testing and electrical safety testing
  • Perform visual QC inspections and apply final product labeling
  • Ensure all testing follows approved SOPs, test methods, and protocols
  • Interpret test results, compare them against specifications, and recommend product release
  • Investigate and report questionable or non‑conforming test results
  • Identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Assist with production, assembly, and general facility support as needed
  • Help design and integrate testing modules for new products
  • Configure and upgrade product software and firmware
  • Perform disinfection wipe‑downs of returned field products when required
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on testing equipment
  • Monitor calibration schedules and maintain compliance for test devices
  • Prepare monthly quality‑related metric reports
  • Write, revise, and maintain work instructions using Microsoft Word
  • Communicate regularly with cross‑functional teams and leadership
  • Uphold a positive, professional image when representing KSEA
  • Support additional duties and special projects as assigned

 

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of relevant quality control, testing, or manufacturing experience
  • High School Diploma or GED (some college or vocational training preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to read and understand schematic and system design drawings
  • Solid knowledge of audio/visual connectivity and signal flow
  • Familiarity with SAP systems
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to work in an ESD‑controlled environment
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and testing discipline

Preferred Qualifications

  • A/V or IT‑related coursework or certifications
  • Experience with FDA, GMP, and QC testing environments
  • Experience upgrading firmware and software on electronic products
  • Hands‑on experience working with ESD‑sensitive components
  • Strong planning, organization, and problem‑solving skills
  • System evaluation, testing, reporting, and documentation experience

 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing and sitting throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Manual dexterity for electronic and computer‑based tasks
  • Comfortable working under deadlines while maintaining quality
  • Team‑oriented mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Open to learning, process improvement, and creative problem solving
