As a Mechanical Engineer III you will join our dynamic team in designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and assemblies for cutting-edge medical integration systems. This role is essential in driving innovation, ensuring quality, and supporting the development and manufacturing process of our products.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Product Management, and stakeholders to create conceptual designs.
  • Design and develop durable solutions for mechanical components and assemblies.
  • Perform analytical assessments (e.g., FEA, temperature, tolerance) to optimize designs.
  • Create mechanical test fixtures, tooling, and procedures to ensure production consistency.
  • Research and develop new materials and mechanical technologies for future product lines.
  • Provide technical leadership to mechanical designers and drafters.
  • Participate in design reviews, identifying potential challenges and solutions.
  • Support prototype builds, validation testing, and field issue analysis for existing products.
  • Maintain documentation, including BOMs, design assurance checks, and SAP Material Masters.

 

What You Bring: 

Required:

  • Experience: 5–6 years in mechanical engineering.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related fields.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience: 7–10+ years in mechanical engineering.
  • Education: Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Skills: Advanced knowledge of FMEA tools, machining operations, metal finishes, and SolidWorks.
