Manager, Technical Training – Operating Room Integration (OR1)

KARL STORZ is seeking a dynamic leader to build transformative training programs that elevate the skills of our Operations teams—Service, Installation, and Customer Success. As Manager, OR1 Technical Training, you will architect learning experiences that upskill employees on current technologies while preparing them for innovations on the horizon.

You’ll lead curriculum design, drive instructional strategy, and coach a high-performing training team—all while helping employees master complex AV systems and surgical tech.
What You’ll Build
- Tailored learning paths that deepen expertise in existing solutions and introduce new technologies with confidence
- Engaging content that turns complex systems into hands-on mastery
- A scalable, competency-driven training framework for both internal teams and external partners

What You’ll Lead
- Two Technical Training Specialists delivering hands-on instruction, field coaching, and customer-facing trainings
- Skill assessments that inform personalized learning and targeted interventions
- A feedback-rich training environment aligned with performance goals and operational needs
What You Bring
- 5+ years in technical training, instructional design, or curriculum development
- Deep knowledge of AV systems, adult learning principles, and instructional technologies
- A passion for helping people learn, grow, and thrive in high-tech environments
- Travel up to 30% across US, Canada, and Mexico
Preferred Skills
- Project and program management experience
- Expertise with learning management systems and performance-based training design
- Intellectual curiosity, presentation finesse, and team-first mindset
