KARL STORZ is seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Production & QC Engineer II to join our Custom Solutions team in Stafford, TX. This onsite role is key to assembling, configuring, and testing customized non-medical audio/visual and collaboration systems while improving our processes and ensuring top-tier quality.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Help develop processes to support the assembly, configuring, and testing AV and visual collaboration systems to spec
  • Own documentation and design transfer activities from Engineering to Operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and resolve issues
  • Identify and drive process improvements across Production and QC
  • Mentor and support technicians on technical processes and standards

What you will need to be considered:

  • 5+ years of experience in AV systems, electro-mechanical assembly, or computer networking
  • Bachelor’s in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in electronics, IP/networking, schematics, and scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and documentation best practices
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail

  • 10+ years in AV systems or systems integration
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Deep expertise in AV hardware integration and validation
