KARL STORZ is currently seeking an experienced Assembler II to join our team. This role involves assembling audio/visual components and medical devices according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while adhering to quality system protocols and regulatory compliance. The Assembler II will play a key role in general assembly, wiring, administration, shipping/receiving, inventory control, order processing, part inspection, and maintaining operational efficiency. The role also supports production, ensures FDA compliance, and assists in the maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and test medical devices and audio/visual components according to SOPs and work instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA and GMP.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed production documentation to ensure traceability.
  • Assist in shipping/receiving, inventory control, order processing, and part inspection.
  • Adhere to cost control and workflow requirements.
  • Collaborate with management and production staff to ensure timely completion of production orders.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to production processes and products.
  • Maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, ensuring adherence to preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Assist other assemblers to ensure adherence to quality and process protocols.
  • Foster a professional image and communicate effectively with team members and other departments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience, with a background in or exposure to audio-visual technology.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of audio-visual connectivity and electronics.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and under pressure.
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams and system design drawings.
  • Solid understanding of audio-visual connectivity and signal flow.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a customer-focused mindset.
