Contract: 12-month maternity cover

Hours: Full Time (35 hours per week, Monday-Friday)

Salary: £33,000 to £38,000 p.a.DOE

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive Learning & Development Specialist to join our HR & L&D team on a 12-month fixed term contract.  This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys coordinating training programmes, managing learning systems (LMS), and supporting employee development in a regulated environment. You’ll be part of a collaborative team helping drive continuous learning across the business.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and support delivery of training programmes, including technical, onboarding, soft skills and e-learning initiatives
  • Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation in the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Support ISO13485 compliance by following controlled processes and participating in internal/external audits
  • Manage credentialling requirements for employees requiring hospital access
  • Organise and improve Company Induction and onboarding activities
  • Design and upload engaging e-learning content
  • Coordinate in-person training workshops and external learning activities
  • Liaise with external training providers and manage vendor relationships
  • Support global learning initiatives and continuous improvement in L&D

 

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in L&D, training coordination, or similar HR development role
  • Experience using a Learning Management System
  • An understanding of ISO regulations or of working within a regulated environment, such as medical, pharma, finance etc
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • A CIPD or learning-related qualification is desirable, but not essential
