Product and Application Trainer
Location: Field based - inside M25 or within surrounding area
Hours: 40 per week (monday to friday with very occasional weekends)
Salary: £29,417 + £7,500 bonus + car
As Product and Application Trainer, you would provide post-sales product training and customer support to new and existing customers for KARL STORZ clinical products, supporting our healthcare customers in London and the South East to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
What you’ll be doing
- Perform post installation user training to new and existing customers.
- Ensure that customers and end users are proficient in the use of endoscopic products in accordance with procedures and standards as defined by the Instructions For Use and other responsible members of the company as required.
- Prepare end users with product introduction and work with staff to plan, develop and conduct an effective training and support programme if required.
- Select or develop teaching aids such as handbooks, demonstration models, visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works. Conduct training sessions covering specified areas such as those concerned with employee orientation and on the job training. Provide refresher training, development, and retraining.
- Maintain a personal programme of continuous professional development with respect to new products, techniques and technologies and report findings as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer training documents in line with our documented procedures.
About you
- You will have prior experince of clinical support, with direct experience in customer interactions and presentations.
- Experience within an operating theatre environment would be extremely beneficial.
- Nurse diploma or medical engineering background is beneficial. (Other disciplines will be considered depending on experience and expertise.)
- A proactive communicator who is willing to take responsibility of challenging situations and work with team colleagues to find solutions
- You must possess a full UK driving license and be a confident driver, able to navigate the challenging driving routes of central London. This role covers the geographical region of London and the South East and will entail high driving mileage as you navigate between our customer sites.
