About the Role

One of the most rewarding ways to advance your career with KARL STORZ is by joining our Onsite Endoscopic Specialist (OES) team. In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you will support advanced endoscopic technologies, surgical instrumentation, and visualization systems directly within a hospital environment.

 

Working closely with Operating Room (OR), Sterile Processing (SPD), and BioMed teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring equipment readiness, supporting clinical workflows, and helping healthcare professionals deliver exceptional patient care. This role offers daily exposure to cutting-edge medical technology while providing a strong foundation for future opportunities across sales, leadership, training, technical support, and other areas within KARL STORZ.

What You'll Do

  • Provide on-site support and expert service to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams to ensure seamless surgical operations.
  • Set up, inspect, and troubleshoot video towers, camera systems, light sources, and other KARL STORZ technologies.
  • Support surgical procedures by identifying and resolving equipment-related issues in real time.
  • Coordinate repairs, exchanges, and service requests while maintaining visibility into equipment status and inventory.
  • Transport, clean, sterilize, package, and inspect surgical instruments to ensure procedural readiness and compliance.
  • Build trusted relationships with hospital personnel by delivering exceptional service and technical support.

 

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in healthcare, sterile processing, surgical technology, medical device support, sales, customer service, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across clinical teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, service-focused environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and reporting tools.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including lifting and transporting equipment up to 25 pounds.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Associate's degree or higher.
  • CRCST certification or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Experience supporting surgical instruments, endoscopy equipment, or medical devices.
  • Knowledge of operating room, sterile processing, or healthcare workflows.
