About the Role
One of the most rewarding ways to launch your career with KARL STORZ is by joining our Onsite Endoscopic Specialist (OES) team. In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you will support advanced medical devices—from precision instruments to state-of-the-art video systems—directly within a hospital environment.
You will work closely with Operating Room (OR), Sterile Processing (SPD), and BioMed teams to ensure surgical readiness and successful outcomes. Shift: Shift start times may be as early as 6:30 AM and end as late as 6:30 PM based on hospital schedules and business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Provide hands-on, face-to-face support to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams, ensuring seamless use of KARL STORZ equipment
- Set up and support video towers and integrated systems for surgical procedures
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate replacement of instruments and equipment
- Transport, clean, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments for use
- Manage repair processes, track equipment status, and facilitate service transactions
- Troubleshoot real-time equipment issues in the operating room to support successful procedures
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in sterile processing, surgical technology, sales, or other clinical/medical environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate in fast-paced, service-driven teams
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and reporting tools
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
Nice to Have:
- Associate’s degree
- CRCST certification or interest in obtaining certification
- Experience supporting surgical equipment or medical devices
