About the Role
One of the most rewarding ways to build your career with KARL STORZ is by joining our Onsite Endoscopic Specialist (OES) team. In this hands-on, customer-facing role, you will support advanced medical technologies, from precision surgical instruments to state-of-the-art video systems, directly within a hospital environment.
You will work side-by-side with Operating Room (OR), Sterile Processing (SPD), and Biomedical Engineering (BioMed) teams to ensure equipment readiness and successful surgical outcomes. This highly interactive role provides real-time exposure to clinical environments while offering opportunities for professional growth across sales, leadership, education, clinical support, and other functional areas within KARL STORZ.

This position is onsite and works Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on support to OR, SPD, and BioMed teams to ensure equipment readiness and seamless clinical operations.
- Set up, test, and support video towers and integrated surgical systems for procedures.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and coordinate replacement of KARL STORZ instruments and equipment.
- Transport, clean, sterilize, package, and organize surgical instruments to ensure compliance and procedural readiness.
- Manage repair workflows, monitor equipment status, and facilitate service and exchange transactions.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues in real time to minimize downtime and support successful surgical outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with hospital staff while delivering exceptional customer service and technical support.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in sterile processing, surgical technology, healthcare support, medical device support, sales, or other clinical environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented setting.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and reporting tools.
- Ability to meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 pounds.
Nice to Have
- Associate's degree.
- CRCST certification or a willingness to obtain certification.
- Experience supporting surgical instruments, endoscopic equipment, or medical devices.
- Familiarity with hospital operating room and sterile processing workflows.
