1. Marketing and branding ▪ Assist in the execution of assigned marketing plans, campaigns, and promotional events including management of assigned activities. ▪ Assist in designing & developing ideas for creative marketing campaigns including digital & social media campaigns. ▪ Coordinate with external vendors for delivery of required material or services for promotional events and marketing campaigns.
2. Market mapping ▪ Map the market/hospitals, develop/define the prospect list and market coverage for the assigned product portfolio to drive marketing initiatives with the team. ▪ Identify new potential customers and showcase the assigned product superiority through technical presentations. ▪ Identify new potential areas of application for a range of assigned products. ▪ Collaborate closely with the sales team, distributors and cross-functional KAM team to develop demand forecasts for various product lines.
3. Market development ▪ Train customers/clinicians during the installation/implementation process. ▪ Participate in various conferences, exhibitions, product drives, and demos to showcase and promote KARL STORZ products and execute the assigned activities. ▪ Coordinate with operations and logistics functions to ensure product availability for demo purposes for the assigned product line. ▪ Plan, monitor, and analyze post-sale surveillance programs to gather customer feedback and enhance growth prospects for new products and technologies. ▪ KOL engagement planning and execution through various hands-on activities including live lectures and video presentations to fellow surgeons.
4. Customer insights & analytics ▪ Assist in conducting market and customer research to analyze consumer requirements, habits trends, etc., and generate insights. ▪ Keep abreast of the latest industry and marketing developments to continuously enhance your knowledge.
5. Compliance with laws & regulations ▪ Follow all relevant laws and statutory requirements for assigned Sales & Marketing activities. ▪ Work closely with the regulatory affairs team to ensure that products adhere to relevant medical device regulations and MDR requirements. Accordingly, implement changes in technical solutions for customers.
6. Policies, processes, and systems ▪ Follow policies, procedures, and controls to ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with regulatory, risk, and audit requirements, as institutionalized by relevant government/non-governmental authorities.
7. Financial Management ▪ Develop and manage product budgets, including forecasting and monitoring product promotion and marketing expenses.
