The Role
To strengthen our team, KARL STORZ Endoscopy (UK) Ltd has a vacancy for an Onsite Endoscopic Specialist based in Warwick.
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide on-site, hands-on client support for KARL STORZ medical devices (including endoscopes, instruments, and video equipment) at assigned hospitals or surgical facilities. This role will primarily involve working within the client’s Operating Department and associated clinical areas.
The Onsite Endoscopic Specialist will enhance quality by ensuring KARL STORZ equipment is always available and fully functional. The role also involves facilitating training for staff at all levels, implementing quality improvements, and maintaining the highest standards in all aspects of KARL STORZ services.
About You
- Experience working in a hospital setting, demonstrating success in a collaborative, service-oriented team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to concentrate on tasks, think independently, use sound judgment, prioritise, make quick decisions, and problem-solve effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive and professional approach.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and work independently on assignments.
- Capacity to work calmly under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multi-task efficiently.
- Experience with endoscopic equipment is not essential but would be a distinct advantage.
- Ability to work under own initiative and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and reporting systems.
Qualifications
- A healthcare or technical qualification is desirable.
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £27,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday
