Manager, Sales Associate – North Central Region

Note: This role requires candidates to reside in the Chicago, IL area.
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales Associates & Sales Administration, you will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Sales Associates. This role is focused on driving regional sales results while preparing team members for future Sales Executive opportunities. You will partner closely with field sales leadership, cross-functional teams, and customers to deliver meaningful business impact.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Sales Associates to achieve regional sales goals and revenue growth
- Build strong sales capabilities within your team, including clinical support, case coverage, product demonstrations, and in-service execution
- Partner with Sales Executives and regional leadership to support key initiatives such as trials, installations, and strategic customer engagements
- Use data-driven insights to improve performance, strengthen pipeline development, and increase market share
- Ensure effective Sales Associate deployment across high-priority accounts and opportunities in the region
- Support complex, strategic sales opportunities involving executive-level hospital stakeholders
- Foster strong collaboration across internal partners and build trusted relationships with key customers
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in medical device or healthcare capital/consumables
- Prior leadership experience (people or project-based) with a strong focus on coaching and development
- Proven success in sales execution, pipeline management, and influencing key stakeholders
- Experience in operating room environments and clinical case support strongly preferred
- Strong communication, business acumen, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
- Willingness to travel up to 60%
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical device sales experience, ideally as an Account Executive
- Prior experience leading sales teams or participating in a formal sales development program
- Salesforce or CRM proficiency
- Experience with complex, strategic selling and executive-level customer engagement
