About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven CNC Machining Operations Supervisor to lead and coordinate machining operations within a high-performing production environment. In this role, you will oversee daily shop floor activities, ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality output, and on-time delivery of machined components that support critical medical device manufacturing.

 

You’ll play a key leadership role in developing team members, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and optimizing production processes. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical leader with CNC expertise who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence.

 

Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Work Environment: On-site manufacturing environment


 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop machining teams, including supervision of hourly staff and Team Leads, while driving engagement and performance
  • Coordinate production schedules, prioritize work orders, and ensure smooth workflow to meet delivery timelines
  • Oversee CNC machining operations, including setup support, troubleshooting, and resolving downtime issues
  • Monitor KPIs, conduct production reviews, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and output
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Kaizen activities, to enhance quality and reduce waste
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and quality standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a CNC machining or manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of CNC screw machines, setup, offsets, and program editing
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in employee development and performance management
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools

 

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in regulated industries such as medical device or aerospace manufacturing
  • Familiarity with production systems and ERP tools
  • Background in scaling operations or supporting production growth
