Join Our Team as a Senior Support Specialist
We are seeking a Senior Support Specialist to play a critical role in delivering reliable end-to-end technology support across our North America operations. This role focuses primarily on deskside support while also contributing to Service Desk tasks, system configurations, and process improvements. As a key part of our IT team, you will lead projects like operating system upgrades and new technology implementations, as well as provide hands-on support for both day-to-day operations and larger initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide deskside support and act as a first responder for IT-related issues, offering reliable troubleshooting and technical solutions.
- Manage and document incident resolution using Service Desk tools, ensuring accurate records for knowledge sharing and continual improvement.
- Collaborate with teams on network, systems, and Telco support, including patching, connectivity troubleshooting, and hardware installation.
- Oversee and contribute to projects, such as operating system rollouts, major moves, and technology upgrades.
- Lead training sessions to empower users with knowledge of standard software and tools.
- Actively participate in problem management, analyzing data to identify root causes and reduce incidents.
What We’re Looking For:
- 7+ years of experience in Service Desk/Deskside support and managing IT systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office applications, and general knowledge of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Active Directory with ITIL familiarity preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to guide teams through complex projects and tasks.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and access equipment in constrained spaces, with occasional travel required.
