About the Role

KARL STORZ is seeking a Senior SAP Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise SAP solutions across our global SAP landscape. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in SAP ABAP, Fiori, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that support critical business operations. You'll collaborate with business stakeholders, functional analysts, and technical teams while mentoring developers, driving innovation, and contributing to the evolution of our SAP ecosystem.

This role requires a hybrid work schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and support SAP ABAP, Fiori, and SAP BTP applications.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain RICEFW objects, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, conversions, and workflows.
  • Build SAP integrations using IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance SAP applications through debugging and performance tuning.
  • Mentor junior developers, support global projects, and promote SAP development best practices.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
  • Strong experience with SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, SAPUI5, CDS Views, AMDP, and OData Services.
  • Expertise in SAP integrations, object-oriented ABAP, workflows, enhancements, and forms.
  • Experience with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), SAP transport management, and global SAP environments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

What Will Make You Successful

  • SAP S/4HANA ABAP and/or SAP Integration Suite certifications.
  • Functional knowledge of SAP SD, MM, PP, or SM modules.
  • Experience with Vistex, OpenText, Vertex, SAP CRM, or ProcessWeaver.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and emerging SAP technologies.
  • Ability to lead technical initiatives while collaborating across global teams.
  • Strong mentoring, leadership, and solution design capabilities.
