As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of SAP BW and HANA solutions, Core Data Service development, along with knowledge of SAC reporting and analytical solutions, and support the integration of Data Warehouse and HANA database with other applications. Candidates must have strong SAP tech stack development and modeling skills to be part of our agile development team. 

 

What you will be doing: 

 

  • Design, develop, and support advanced data models using SAP BW, HANA, and reporting tools like SAC, Tableau, and Business Objects. (30%)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable analytics solutions. (20%)
  • Optimize data extraction and provisioning using SDI, SLT, and SAP standard extractors from modules like FI, CO, MM, and SD. (15%)
  • Implement hybrid models and LSA++ architecture within HANA Studio and BW Modelling Tools. (10%)
  • Conduct unit and integration testing for BI solutions and ensure high-quality deliverables. (10%)
  • Provide technical documentation and best practice guidance for data warehousing and reporting standards. (10%)
  • Troubleshoot, enhance, and maintain existing BW/HANA flows and BI components. (5%)

 

What you bring:

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in business analysis, proficient in requirements definition, and adept at constructing SAP BW and HANA system solutions.
  • Experience with Core Data Service development in S4 and integration into SAP data warehouse landscape
  • Strong SQL scripting and performance optimization skills in HANA.
  • Experience in data integration using SAP Data Services, SDI, SLT, etc.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP BI/HANA certification.
  • Experience with SAP ECC, CRM, and modules like SD, FI, and COPA.
  • Proficiency in integrating data from various sources into SAP BW and SAP HANA, utilizing technologies like SAP Data Services, SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation), and Smart Data Integration (SDI)
  • ABAP understanding for BW user exits and relational database concepts.
  • Familiarity with version control and deployment strategies for SAP environments.
