As the Principal Marketing Manager, Head & Neck Division, you will be responsible for independently developing and executing end-to-end commercialization and marketing strategies for an assigned portfolio to drive revenue growth and market share expansion. This role serves as a strategic partner to global and local stakeholders and as a market-facing leader, engaging customers and key decision-makers to position KARL STORZ as the preferred partner in Head & Neck care.

 

What you will be doing: 

 

Strategic Marketing Leadership

  • Independently develop and execute commercialization and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
  • Define product positioning, value propositions, and integrated marketing plans, translating clinical, economic, and customer value into compelling messaging.
  • Create and manage internal and external marketing resources to improve sales effectiveness, brand awareness, and customer engagement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Marketing Communications, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Finance, Quality, Training, Technical Services, and Global Marketing.

 

Portfolio & Lifecycle Management

  • Lead assigned products, services, and programs from launch through end-of-life.
  • Deliver new product and service launches on time, on target, and on budget.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing Operations to ensure operational excellence and readiness.

 

Customer, Sales & KOL Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and strategic customers across the U.S.
  • Support Field Sales directly and through Technical Services with tools, training, and expertise.
  • Develop and deliver training for sales teams, technical services, and end-users in partnership with Training & Sales Enablement.
  • Plan and manage conventions, customer meetings, and focus groups, ensuring consistent messaging and measurable outcomes.

 

Analytics, Insights & Business Impact

  • Conduct market analysis and translate customer and field insights into actionable strategies and measurable initiatives.
  • Partner with demand planning and supply chain teams to support forecasting and inventory planning.
  • Develop dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and ROI analyses to guide business decisions.

 

Brand Leadership & Influence

  • Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistent, value-based messaging across all U.S. market activities.
  • Lead development of sales-facing content and convention presence.
  • Lead through influence, taking ownership of initiatives and guiding cross-functional teams without direct authority.

 

What You Bring:

 

Required

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in marketing, commercialization, or product marketing.
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Strong strategic, analytical, organizational, and communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, business analytics tools, SAP, and Salesforce.

 

Preferred

 

  • MBA or advanced degree.
  • Experience in medical device marketing or healthcare organizations (HCOs).
  • Demonstrated success working across global and multicultural teams.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments while maintaining focus on results.
