KARL STORZ is currently recruiting a Customer Questionnaire Process Analyst.  This roles serves an important role in upholding KARL STORZ’ global procedure for processing, analyzing, reporting, and completing 3rd party (externally requested) questionnaires that are received within their territories.  The Customer Questionnaire Process Analyst will be responsible for working closely with various departments and subject matter experts (SMEs) to fulfill the varied requirements and deadlines accompanying the questionnaire form requests. They will gather and store analytical data, create descriptive analytics based on certain key performance indicators (KPIs), and present periodic and ad-hoc executive reports in an easily understandable format.




  • Receives all questionnaires from the Stakeholder(s) and schedules and leads the initial questionnaire analysis meeting.
  • Maintains Question Inventory and Reporting System (QUIRS) Database.
    • Enters all information for questionnaires
    • Tracks deadlines for completion and communicates to internal and external stakeholders
    • Adds and maintains database on internal subject matter experts (SME’s) including expertise, department, country, managers and substitution contact(s) available.
    • Maintains and updates “Question and Answer” (Q&A) archive for validated, previously answered questions
  • Completes the portion of all questionnaires with the applicable pre-validated questions from QUIRS
  • Manages collaboration and communication with SMEs:
    • Identifies the SMEs for any unanswered questions
    • Assigns them questions with deadlines
    • Asks for their input and reviews their responses
    • Confirms all answers based on provided evidence (if applicable) in the questionnaire are complete, accurate and up to date in reference to the QUIRS database
  • If the answers need approval by the KARL STORZ Legal / Compliance Teams, schedules a meeting to ensure proper confidentiality is maintained for sensitive or private information.
  • Re-assimilates the questionnaires into one cohesive document and sends them back to the internal stakeholder by due date for delivery.
  • Records new validated answers into QUIRS database system archive
  • Analyzes collected questionnaire data and creates an executive reporting format
  • Prepares both quarterly and ad-hoc reports for leadership
  • Interprets data trends and patterns that emerge from questionnaire responses and timelines
  • Collaborates with global questionnaire team to determine areas of process improvement in relation to questionnaire data
  • Collaborates with information security project teams as needed




  • Minimum 3 years in a highly detailed analyst role or similar
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software suite including SharePoint and Visio applications.  Advanced Excel experience desired
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities and complex issues simultaneously 
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to work cross functionally and build working relationships with other departments
  • Ability to work under multiple deadlines
  • Ability to travel within the U.S., up to 10%




  • 5 years in a highly detailed analyst role or similar, preferably in Healthcare or Medical Device Manufacturing Fields
  • Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) certification
  • Familiarity with information security standards and/or frameworks
  • Strong negotiation skills and presentation skills
