Credit Collections Specialist

As a Credit Collections Specialist, you will manage an assigned customer portfolio, drive timely collections, reduce DSO, and support overall cash flow. This role combines analytical skill, strong communication, and excellent customer service to resolve past‑due issues and maintain healthy account relationships.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage and collect outstanding receivables for assigned accounts
- Proactively contact customers regarding past‑due balances
- Maintain accurate documentation of all collection activities
- Resolve disputes, unapplied payments, adjustments, and account holds
- Prepare write‑off files and escalate accounts as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams and deliver strong customer service
- Analyze portfolio data and support process improvements
What You Bring:
- 2–3 years of B2B collections experience
- SAP experience preferred
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and business systems
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
Additional Details
- Travel to supplier sites required
- Must meet safety, quality, and compliance standards
