What You’ll Do
- Drive machining excellence by developing, documenting, and improving CNC processes, tooling, fixtures, and programs (Esprit CAM).
- Support new product launches through process validation, verification, and creation of complete fabrication data packages.
- Troubleshoot machining issues, support MRB activities, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Review engineering drawings for manufacturability and cost‑reduction opportunities.
- Lead programming efforts and contribute to Lean initiatives, including SMED and Poka‑Yoke.
- Collaborate across shifts to resolve technical and workflow challenges.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards (ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA QSR).
What You Bring
- Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of machining/manufacturing experience.
- Strong CNC machining background, including setup, tooling, and cycle optimization.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
- Experience with GD&T (ASME/ISO), SPC, and fixture/tooling design.
- Familiarity with Swiss‑turn and 5‑axis mill/turn equipment.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work overtime as needed.
- Valid driver’s license for frequent company travel.
