Join our dynamic manufacturing team at KARL STORZ U.S.in Charlton, MA as an Automation Process Operator - 2nd shift, where you'll oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of advanced automated systems. You will play a critical role in transitioning manual processes to automation, ensuring smooth production flow, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Hours:  3:30 p.m. - 2:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday

 

What you'll be doing:

  • Operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated machinery.
  • Perform manual assembly of small parts as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineers on process improvements and quality checks.
  • Document standard work for serial production and assist in the automation transition.
  • Train and support the manufacturing team.

 

What you need to be considered:

  • 3+ years of experience in medical device manufacturing or other regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of automation systems (robotics, pick-and-place, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with robotic and PLC programming is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform repetitive manual tasks.
