Assembler I, Imaging

KARL STORZ is seeking a detail-oriented Assembler I to join our Imaging team in Charlton, MA. In this role, you will assemble high-quality endoscope imaging systems, working in a cleanroom environment with precision optical and mechanical components.
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 5:00am – 3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble intricate optical/mechanical components using microscopes and hand tools
- Perform tasks such as epoxying, polishing, cleaning, and inspection
- Follow written assembly procedures and meet productivity/quality standards
- Cross-train across other value streams as needed
- Maintain accurate production records and communicate effectively with team members
- Comply with FDA, ISO 13485/9001 standards and all safety regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0–1 year experience in miniature precision assembly (medical products preferred)
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow SOPs and technical drawings
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and with chemicals/adhesives
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of microscope use
- Ability to wear cleanroom attire and gloves
- Able to lift, move, and perform assembly in a dynamic team environment
