About the Role

The Product Evaluation Operator I plays an important role in ensuring the quality, safety, and functionality of KARL STORZ products before they are returned to inventory or shipped to customers. In this position, you will evaluate medical devices, instruments, and software, perform system transactions, and make disposition recommendations that impact inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and a desire to grow within a fast-paced, regulated MedTech environment.

What You'll Do

  • Perform hands-on evaluations of medical devices, instruments, and software to assess functionality, condition, and performance against established standards.
  • Execute SAP and related system transactions to accurately document product evaluations and disposition outcomes.
  • Support the Global KSRAPS-FCO process to ensure compliant and consistent product disposition decisions.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, documentation integrity, and adherence to quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in LEAN, 6S, audits, visual management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with work instruction updates, process standardization efforts, and cross-training opportunities within the department.

 

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with SAP, ERP, WMS, or similar inventory and transaction-based systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures and controlled processes.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependable attendance and a commitment to quality and accuracy.

 

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a medical device, healthcare, or other regulated environment.
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution operations.
  • Experience working with process documentation, controlled work instructions, or compliance-related activities.
  • Additional technical, logistics, or operations-related certifications or training.
