About the Role
Join KARL STORZ as a Logistics Center Trainer I and play a key role in developing talent, driving operational excellence, and supporting our continuous improvement (LEAN) culture. In this hands-on role, you will lead training efforts for Logistics Associates—ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and processes needed to succeed in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
You will partner closely with Logistics Center leadership to deliver impactful training programs, measure effectiveness, and continuously improve processes using data-driven insights. This position blends on-the-floor coaching with structured training development, making it ideal for someone passionate about teaching, process improvement, and team development.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00AM-2:30PM
What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging training programs, including new hire onboarding, cross-training, and refresher sessions through classroom and hands-on instruction
- Coach and develop associates on the warehouse floor, spending the majority of time supporting real-time learning and performance
- Measure training effectiveness using audits, Voice of the Customer (VOC) data, KPIs, and leadership feedback
- Maintain and update training materials, work instructions, and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Identify gaps between current processes and procedures and drive improvements through training and standardization
- Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize operations
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED required
- 0–3 years of experience in training, logistics, manufacturing, or related environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and engage diverse teams
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with SAP transactions and systems
- Ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization
Nice to Have:
- Associate degree or higher
- Experience in Lean/continuous improvement environments
- Bilingual or multilingual capabilities
