Logistics Center Associate II- Shipping

I. POSITION SUMMARY
Logistics Center Associates are expected to support and contribute to the KSEA continuous improvement (LEAN) culture. Proficient in all entry level tasks and a proven ability to learn intermediate SAP transactions and material processing. A Logistics Center Associate II will have a record of proficiency in quality, safety, productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Shift: 11:30 AM-8:00 PM
II. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
HS Diploma or GED required
SAP experience required
Trained on all Warehouse Power Equipment (Forklift and WAVE Picker) preferred
Ability to work independently
Intermediate computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite)
Participates in a teamwork environment
Effective communicator with various levels within the organization
Dependable
Punctual
III. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Position requires constant and varying degrees of movement including standing, sitting, bending, walking, reaching, grabbing, and packing, lifting, pulling, and pushing
Must be able to frequently lift up to 25lbs
Must be able to occasionally lift between 30-75lbs as needed with assistance
Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 320lbs on casters with assistance
Must be able to occasionally use a warehouse ladder for reaching shelves
Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack
Ability to use standard office equipment (computers, copiers, etc.)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties consistent with the general nature and focus of the position and/or the goals and objectives of the department may be assigned.)
Actively participate in LEAN/Continuous Improvement initiatives with a high level of engagement. These activities include:
5S
Idea Board
Audits
Visual Control Systems
Cross-train in other outbound tasks.
Creation of replenishment transactions.
Research and resolve open inventory transactions.
Participate in cycle counts.
