Logistics Center Associate I - Shipping

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Position Summary
The Logistics Center Associate I plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement (LEAN). This position is responsible for material handling, order processing, and shipment preparation within the Logistics Center using fundamental SAP transactions.
The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Package products accurately and efficiently for customer shipments
- Process customer orders and transactions using SAP
- Coordinate and process shipments through various carriers
- Support fulfillment and shipping operations as directed by the Shipping Supervisor
- Provide cross-functional support and fill in for other roles within the Shipping department as needed
- Maintain adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures
- Strong communication skills
- Team-oriented mindset
- Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
Preferred:
- Experience working with SAP or similar systems
Physical Requirements
This role involves a range of physical activities in a warehouse environment, including:
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting
- Lifting up to 25 lbs regularly
- Occasional lifting of 30–75 lbs with assistance
- Occasional pushing/pulling of up to 320 lbs on casters with assistance
- Use of a warehouse ladder for accessing shelves
- Operation of a manual pallet jack
- Use of standard office and warehouse equipment
