Logistics Center Associate I- Product Eval

KARL STORZ’S logistics center in Auburn, MA has excellent opportunities for entry-level and experienced logistics and warehouse professionals to help us bring our products to the medical marketplace. We are currently seeking a Logistics Center Associate (Warehouse Associate) – Product Evaluation.
Shift: 6AM-2:30PM
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to:
- Evaluate and process electro-mechanical medical devices received within the product evaluation department.
- Process all devices with highest level of quality.
- Confirm all information attached to device coincides with physical part number and serial number (if applicable) on device and SAP
- Update software as required to specific designated devices
- Provide support in other areas within the Product Evaluation Department as requested by Product Evaluation Supervisor.
- Actively participate in and contribute to LEAN/Continuous Improvement initiatives
Requirements
Our successful candidate will be a strong communicator and have demonstrated success working in a collaborative, service-oriented team environment.
Additional requirements include, but are not limited to:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1-3 years prior experience in an IT, electro-mechanical or equivalent role
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to model a team-oriented culture
- Strong safety and quality focus
- High attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
Preferred, but not required:
- Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP system
- Familiar with LEAN methodologies
Physical Requirements
- Position requires constant and varying degrees of movement including standing, sitting, bending, walking, reaching, grabbing, and packing, lifting, pulling, and pushing
- Must be able to frequently lift up to 25lbs
- Must be able to occasionally lift between 30-75lbs as needed with assistance
- Must be able to occasionally push/pull up to 320lbs on casters with assistance
- Must be able to occasionally use a warehouse ladder for reaching shelves
- Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack
- Ability to use standard office equipment (computers, copiers, etc.)
