About the Role

KARL STORZ is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Center Associate I to join our Logistics Center team. In this role, you will support the movement and processing of inventory through receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping activities while utilizing warehouse technology and SAP transactions. You will play a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, supporting customer and business partner needs, and maintaining operational excellence throughout the distribution process. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a Lean-driven environment.

 

This position is onsite and works Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.


 

What You'll Do

  • Execute material handling, stocking, picking, and inventory transactions using warehouse scanning devices and SAP.
  • Verify order accuracy and ensure products are correctly matched before releasing inventory to stock or for shipment.
  • Complete daily 6S activities to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by generating ideas, providing constructive feedback, and supporting assigned projects.
  • Follow established work instructions, policies, and procedures to meet quality, productivity, and operational goals.
  • Build productive working relationships with team members and collaborate across functions to support service level commitments.
  • Learn and safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and other powered equipment as required.

 

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0 to 1 year of warehouse, receiving, dock, distribution, or material handling experience.
  • Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn and navigate SAP and warehouse systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory and order accuracy.
  • Ability to follow directions and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Nice to Have

  • One year of warehouse, receiving, logistics, or dock experience.
  • Experience using SAP or other warehouse management systems.
  • Experience working in a Lean or continuous improvement environment.
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively to solve operational challenges.
