About the Role

The Receiving Logistics Center Associate I supports daily receiving and material handling operations within the Logistics Center while contributing to KARL STORZ's continuous improvement (LEAN) culture. This role is responsible for processing inbound materials, validating shipment documentation, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.

 

This is a fully on-site position located in our Logistics Center. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM.
 

What You'll Do

  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming products using SAP, scanning devices, and warehouse systems.
  • Verify Air Way Bills, Purchase Orders, shipping documentation, material quantities, and product quality for accuracy.
  • Apply logistics labels and validate Bills of Material to ensure inventory integrity.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by following 6S and safety requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and provide feedback to enhance processes and efficiency.
  • Follow work instructions, policies, and procedures while supporting warehouse productivity and quality goals.

 

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 0–1 year of warehouse, receiving, shipping, dock, or logistics experience.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn warehouse systems and SAP transactions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and committed to safety and quality.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year of warehouse, receiving, or logistics experience.
  • SAP experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
  • Frequent lifting of up to 30 lbs. and occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Ability to use warehouse ladders and operate pallet jacks.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying physical demands.
