About the Role
Step into a leadership role where operational excellence meets continuous improvement. As a Logistics Center Product Evaluation Lead, you will serve as a hands-on team leader responsible for driving daily workflow, ensuring quality standards, and supporting team performance within our Product Evaluation department.
Partnering closely with the Supervisor, you will lead by example—actively participating in departmental tasks while guiding associates, prioritizing workloads, and championing Lean initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing people, improving processes, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Work Environment: On-site, fast-paced logistics/warehouse setting
What You’ll Do
- Lead daily operations by prioritizing workflow, monitoring SLAs, and ensuring efficient, high-quality output across the Product Evaluation team
- Perform hands-on evaluation, inspection, and troubleshooting of medical and electro-mechanical equipment
- Support team performance through coaching, training, onboarding, and acting as a subject matter expert
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, VOC, audits) to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve service levels
- Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, quality, and business partners to resolve issues, manage discrepancies, and improve processes
- Serve as backup to the Supervisor, assisting with work allocation, reporting, and team coordination
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED with demonstrated leadership experience
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- A team-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- Prior team lead or supervisory experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
- Experience with SAP, WMS, or similar systems
- Background in inspecting, assembling, or troubleshooting medical or technical equipment
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to interpret technical documentation
