The Facilities, Security & Safety Supervisor is responsible for overseeing facility maintenance, housekeeping, building security, and employee safety programs. This role manages internal staff and external service providers, ensures OSHA compliance, leads emergency response efforts, and partners with the landlord on building maintenance and improvements
What you will be doing:
- Oversee building maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, housekeeping, and security services
- Lead safety, emergency response, and business continuity programs
- Manage facility budgets, capital projects, and cost center expenses
- Ensure OSHA compliance and hazardous waste management
- Supervise facility staff and support team development
- Support customer visits, guests, and company events
What you bring:
Qualifications
- 3+ years of facilities or building maintenance experience
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and preventive maintenance
- Hands-on maintenance experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP preferred
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
Preferred
- 5+ years in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing/walking; lifting up to 35 lbs. (100 lbs. with assistance)
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying environments
- On-call availability for after-hours issues
