Field Service Technician (m/f/d) - Norway

Your tasks:
  • Providing field services to KARL STORZ customers in a timely manner, including, but not limited to, installations, training, in-servicing, inspecting, repair, preventative maintenance, calibration and sales support
  • Maintaining an organized, proactive system of territory management
  • Regularly interacting and building positive relationships with customers in all applicable and related business markets
  • Promoting the sale of service contracts, new product sales, upgrades, and accessories
  • Maintaining proper and accurate inventory for timely resolution and follow approved policies and procedures for Inventory Controls
  • Providing accurate and timely documentation that details field activity, expenses, time distribution, and other information as needed
  • Maintaining company assets (car, tools and inventories) securely and in working order
  • Showing an understanding of service procedures and policies, including customer complaint handling and Medical Device Reporting
  • Providing outstanding customer service; ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved when resolving customer/product issues and complaints
  • Managing prioritizing workload and time management to successfully manage territory responsibilities
  • Travel, up to 50 days mainly in Norway
 
Your profile:
  • Experience as a Field Service Technician, Service Technician, or degreed Medical Engineers
  • IT knowledge on general connectivity
  • Demonstrated success or passion of learning/servicing new technologies
  • Demonstrated success in exercising independent judgement and draw accurate conclusions based on available information
  • Outstanding communications and customer follow-up
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Self-motivated, proactive, with a “Can do” attitude
  • Fluent in English and willing to learn Norwegian
